So here i go for my first english movie reviews. I am starting with last months few hyped movies.
1. Marley N Me (Comedy/Drama) :- Starring Owen Wilson and Jenifer Aniston
Main Story Line :- A newspaper writers (Owen) gets married to his girlfriend (Jennifer) and move to Florida. Just to check if they r ready for a baby they Owen gives a pully While the puppy to his wife. As the Puppy "Marley" grows it creates nuisense around the house making their life messy. The story revolves around Owen n Jenifer's life with their troubles created by their kids n the dog.
My Review :- A good movie to watch while u getting bored. People who own a dog can have fun watching the movie by relating the dog's mess to their own life....though in the end their is a tragic end which involves dogs death. Over all its a Sunday afternoon movie where one can pass time watching the movie.
Rating :- 3/5 (Losses its grip in between)
2. Bolt (Anime):- Voices include John Travolta - Bolt and Miley Cyrus - Penny
Main Story Line :- The story is based on a dog named Bolt.He has lived his whole life on the set of his action TV show, where he is shown having superpowers. He gets an accidental excape n is separated from the studio. After running off from studio he lands into the real world of New York. Here he meets a female alley cat named Mittens and a hamster named Rhino, which helps him to reach back to the studio where his TV show is been shot. Along the way, he learns that he doesn't have superpowers and that the show is not real.
My Review :- Great movie to watch anytime. Has loads of comic sceans throughout the movie which keeps u on ur seat for long. Specially the dialogues of the cat n the hamster. A must watch from my side. People who doesn't prefer animation, my advice is to don't miss this one :D
Rating :- 4/5 (Gr8 animation n good concept)
3. Watchmen (Action/Thriller):- Staring Malin Akerman as Laurie Jupiter, Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan etc.
Main Story Line : -"Watchmen" is a story in the timeline or 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the secured citizens. The USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight for a nuclear war. When one of the superhero is murdered. One of the superhero named "Rorschach" sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he goes around he glimpses a disturbing conspiracy and how to help the human race safe.
My Review :- The most fcked up movie for superheroes i have ever seen. Superheros here have no special powers except 2 of them. Donno why they r called superhero. This movie is based on a Marvel comic edition. Atleast they would have included known superheroes like Spiderman,Superman,Batman....etc. People don't waste a day for it. If u have nothing to do expect sitting idle then n only watch the movie.CAUTION : The movie is of 2:35 mins long so think before u watch it. :D
Rating : - 2/5 (2 because there are some sizzling scenes)
4. Hotel For Dogs (Family Comedy) :- Starring Emma Roberts and Jake.T.Austin in leads.
Main Story Line :- The movie is based on to orphan siblings named Andi n Bruce. They have been shifted to 3 adoption family becouse of their misbehaviour. They secretly own a dog which has to be kept at some place to be safe n healthy. In the process they find an empty hotel where they keep the dog. This hotel already includes two dogs. As they try keeping the hotel well planned placed they get loads of dogs as their occupants. How does they manage it hiding from others and where they end is all the story about.
My Review :- Phew!! another dog story. Last month was dogs month i guess. Anyway the movie is same trained dogs story like 101 Dalmations, Air Buddies etc. But till when it comes to trained dogs its always fun to watch n amaize ourselfs.Overall good show once a watch with friends or family.
Rating :- 3/5 (Because its the main show of trained dogs not the humans)
Upcoming movies :- Monster Vs Alien, The Last House On The Left, The Hauntin In Connecticut. So its gonna be horror week i guess :D
